Sankar Bijen Ghosh

Dr. Sankar Ghosh is a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing the Siliguri constituency in Darjeeling district, West Bengal. He is affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and was elected in the 2021 West Bengal Legislative Assembly elections. Dr. Ghosh holds a PhD in Microbiology from the University of North Bengal and has a strong background in education and politics. He was appointed the Chief Whip of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly in 2024. Known for his dedication to development, social work, and public welfare, Dr. Ghosh focuses on issues including youth empowerment, health, and infrastructure development in Siliguri, making him a respected leader in West Bengal politics.
