Tanaji Jaywant Sawant is a senior Shiv Sena (Shiv Sena) leader and the current Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from the Paranda constituency in Dharashiv (Osmanabad) district, Maharashtra. Elected in 2019, Sawant has previously served as Cabinet Minister for Water Conservation and Health in the Maharashtra government, and was a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Council from 2016 to 2019. Known for his leadership in water conservation, he played a key role in the ‘Shiv Jal Kranti’ scheme, significantly benefiting local farmers and rural communities. As a prominent Maratha leader and businessman, Sawant is respected for his social work and development initiatives in education and public welfare
