Sajeev Joseph was born on September 16, 1972, in Ulikkal, Kannur district, Kerala, into the family of Shri A. K. Joseph and Smt. Chinnamma Joseph, known for their strong community ties and social service. Raised with values of integrity, service, and community, Sajeev credits his upbringing for instilling a strong sense of social responsibility and empathy.

He completed his education at Nirmalagiri College, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Economics, followed by LLB from Government Law College, Kozhikode. This academic background laid the foundation for his legal practice and his analytical and leadership skills. Deeply influenced by Indian reformers and principles of equality and justice, Sajeev adopts a rights-based approach in his public and personal life.

Sajeev Joseph is married to Smt. Beauty Jacob and is a proud father to their daughter, Sona Sajeev. Despite a busy political career, he values family bonds and nurtures close relationships, often attributing his personal growth to the support of his loved ones.
