Kashinath Mahadu Date Sir is a senior Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in the 15th Maharashtra Legislative Assembly (2024–2029). Representing the Parner constituency in Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra, he is affiliated with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). Kashinath Date Sir secured his seat in the 2024 assembly elections by defeating his closest rival from the NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) faction by a margin of 1,526 votes. A respected leader with a background in rural development, he has previously chaired the Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Committee of Zilha Parishad, Ahmednagar, and is known for his initiatives in farmer welfare and local development
