His political career began in earnest in 2005 when he was elected unanimously to represent the Amrod seat in the Panchayat samiti (block). He started raising farmers’ issues and was made the District President of Kissan Congress. His wife, Mrs. Suvita Yadav, was elected to represent the same Panchayat samiti (block) seat in 2010. She was elected as vice-president of Panchayat samiti unanimously. Yadav is often considered a humble politician without enemies, known for his unanimous elections at his Panchayat and Panchayat samiti.

He was first elected in the 2018 bypolls, following the demise of the sitting MLA, Mahendra Singh Kalukheda. Mr. Yadav was born on June 24, 1969, in the village of Amrod, Ashoknagar. He is married to Mrs. Suvita Yadav, and they have two sons, Arjun Singh Yadav and Rahul Yadav, and one daughter, Priyanka Yadav. Arjun is a Chemical Engineering graduate from IIT Delhi, Rahul is pursuing his MBBS from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, and Priyanka is an MBA Postgraduate from IPER Bhopal.

After being adopted by his father’s elder brother, Rao Govind Singh Yadav & Janki Yadav, who had no child, he started living in Surel village.

He is married to Mrs. Suvita Yadav and they have two sons and one daughter. Their eldest son, Arjun Singh Yadav, is a Chemical Engineering graduate from IIT Delhi. Their second son, Rahul Yadav, is pursuing his MBBS from Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal. Their daughter, Priyanka Yadav, is an MBA Postgraduate from IPER Bhopal.

In his personal life, Yadav is known to be a humble individual without enemies. This is reflected in his political career as well, where he is known for his unanimous elections at his Panchayat and Panchayat samiti. His wife, Mrs. Suvita Yadav, also shares his political journey, having been elected to represent the same Panchayat samiti (block) seat in 2010.
