Dharmendra Singh Lodhi's primary and secondary education took place in Nohta only. After that, he completed B.Sc Mathematics education and MA Hindi education from Government PG College, Damoh. He had completed his PGDCA education from Times College and B.Ed from Ojasvi College, Damoh.

Dharmendra Singh Lodhi started his politics from Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad. For the first time in the year 2018, the ticket was given from Jabera Assembly, associated with the Sangh. He won the election in a four-cornered contest.
