Tapas Tarapada Saha

Tapas Tarapada Saha was a prominent Indian politician from West Bengal, serving as the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Tehatta constituency in Nadia district. Representing the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC), he was elected in 2016 from Palashipara and re-elected in 2021 from Tehatta, marking his significant role in West Bengal politics. Known for his grassroots connect and dedication to development, Tapas Saha focused on infrastructure improvement, social welfare programs, and rural empowerment in his constituency. Despite facing challenges, including a CBI probe related to a recruitment scam, he remained respected among party members and constituents.
