Shakil Ahmad khan

Shakeel Ahmad Khan is a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing the Kadwa constituency in Katihar district, Bihar. He is affiliated with the Indian National Congress (INC) and has been serving as an MLA since 2015, winning consecutive elections including the latest in 2020. An academic and former student leader, Shakeel Ahmad Khan completed his M.A., M.Phil., and Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), where he was elected president of the JNU Students’ Union in 1992. Known for his dedication to rural development, youth leadership, social work, and education, he is a prominent figure in Seemanchal politics. Khan currently serves as the leader of the Bihar Congress Legislature Party (CLP). He commands respect for his clean image, grassroots work, and efforts to empower marginalized sections including women and youth.
