Afaque Naimuddin Alam

Md. Afaque Alam is a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing the Kasba constituency in Purnia district, Bihar. He is affiliated with the Indian National Congress (INC) and has been serving as the MLA since 2010, winning consecutive elections in 2010, 2015, and 2020. Afaque Alam currently holds the portfolio of Minister of Animal Husbandry, Dairying, and Fisheries in the Bihar government. Known for his dedicated work in rural development, farmer welfare, and social upliftment, he has been actively involved in initiatives supporting youth, women empowerment, and infrastructure improvements in Kasba. His clean image, strong grassroots connection, and consistent electoral victories have made him a key leader in Bihar politics.
