Sheela Sailendra Mandal

Sheela Sailendra Mandal, also known as Sheela Kumari Mandal, is a current Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly (MLA) representing the Phulparas constituency in Madhubani district, Bihar. She is affiliated with the Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)] party. Elected for the first time in the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Sheela Mandal quickly rose to prominence, securing a ministerial position as the Transport Minister in the Bihar government. Known for her grassroots connection and focus on development and social welfare, she represents youth and women empowerment in her constituency. Sheela Mandal also has a background in arts and poetry and comes from a politically active family with a legacy in Bihar politics.
