He is affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Shah, a prominent real estate developer and founder of Man Infraconstruction Ltd., was first elected as an MLA in 2019 and is currently serving his second term. Previously, he served as a BJP Municipal Councillor from Ghatkopar East in 2017. Known as Maharashtra’s wealthiest MLA, Shah declared assets exceeding ₹3,300 crore in the 2024 elections. He is recognized for development initiatives such as road concretization, free ambulance services, and effective grievance redressal systems, contributing to local infrastructure and community welfare
