Sunil Kumar Pintu is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament (MP) in the 17th Lok Sabha representing the Sitamarhi constituency in Bihar. He is a member of the Janata Dal (United) [JD(U)]. Before becoming an MP in 2019, Sunil Kumar Pintu served as a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly from Sitamarhi for four terms between 2003 and 2015. He also held the position of Minister of Tourism in the Bihar government from 2010 to 2013. Pintu is known for his development work and social initiatives in Sitamarhi and also presides over the Shri Bhagwati Sita Tirtha Kshetra Samiti. His political career is marked by strong commitment to farmer welfare and youth empowerment in Bihar.
