Meghana Deepak Sakore-Bordikar is a prominent Indian political leader serving as the Minister of State and Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Jintur constituency, Parbhani district, Maharashtra. Representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), she was first elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2024, defeating NCP (Sharad Pawar) candidates both times. Known respectfully as “Meghana Didi” and “Jal Mitra”, she is recognized for her development work in water conservation, renewable energy, public health, women empowerment, and farmer welfare. Bordikar has launched skill-building and employment programs for youth and women, promoted rural development, and led environmental campaigns. As Minister of State, her portfolio includes Public Health, Water Supply & Sanitation, Energy, Women & Child Development, and Public Works.
